GofruTV DMCA & copyright policy

GofruTV respects the rights of copyright holders and responds to every properly formed notice. This page explains our position and how to send one.

Last updated: 28 August 2026

Our position

GofruTV is a reseller of access to media streams. We do not host, store, record, transcode, own or control any of the broadcast content that reaches a subscriber's player, and we do not operate the servers on which that content originates.

Because of that, we cannot remove a stream from the internet. What we can do — and what we do promptly — is disable access to a specific stream through our service and pass a valid complaint to the upstream supplier responsible for it.

Sending a notice

If you own a copyright, or are authorised to act for someone who does, and you believe material accessible through GofruTV infringes that copyright, send a written notice to our designated contact address. We review every notice we receive.

So that we can act quickly, a notice must identify the work and the stream precisely. A complaint that only names a broadcaster or a genre cannot be actioned, because it does not tell us which stream to disable.

What a valid notice must contain

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

3. Identification of the specific material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — the exact channel or stream name as it appears in our line-up.

4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.

5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

How we respond

We acknowledge complete notices within two business days and act on them, in the ordinary case, within five business days. Access to the identified stream is disabled while we investigate.

We keep a record of every notice received and of the action taken in response, so that a pattern of repeat infringement can be identified and acted upon.

Counter-notices and repeat infringers

If you believe material was disabled in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, identifying the material, stating under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and providing your contact details.

GofruTV operates a repeat-infringer policy. Accounts and supplier relationships associated with repeated valid complaints are terminated.

Contacting our designated agent

Send all copyright correspondence to the address on our contact page, with DMCA in the subject line. Notices sent through live chat or WhatsApp cannot be processed, because they cannot be recorded as formal correspondence.
